primo piatto is a conceptual and culinary studio based in basel, switzerland.

it brings together three passions: cooking, design, and hospitality.
 primo piatto started with a simple love for supper clubs:
the idea of bringing friends and strangers together around one table and sharing the joy of a good meal in good company.

since then, that idea has grown - into catering, private events, brunches, and yoga retreats.

we cook with what the season gives us. regional, and vegetable-forward. it’s how we choose to treat the resources we work with.

we do a lot of our shopping at the local weekly market. it keeps us honest about what’s actually in season, and it means we get to know the people growing our food - not just the product itself.

every event we create is about bringing food, sustainability, and creativity together, and leaving people with something they’ll remember. we don’t do one-size-fits-all:
each moment is shaped around the place and the people we’re cooking for.

concept and food styling matter to us just as much as where an ingredient comes from. that’s partly our architecture background talking, and we still think a lot about space, design, and aesthetics.
